Life with old memories

It's a story of memories which I think everyone would have it

I grew up in Bandra, Mumbai better known as the Queen of the suburbs 
During a time when everyone treated each other like Family,
Every female/male that came to your house was your aunty/uncle even if they were no relation 
We went to summer club and played throw ball and carrom, hockey, soccer, basketball, etc.
We came straight home from school and changed and then out to play all evening .
If you had siblings you wore their hand me downs
We didn't eat fast food....
We sometimes ate bhel puri and dosas from street carts and got ice slushies or Gola from a cart down the road  if ya mum was not looking.
Otherwise Home made kalakhatta/ rasna.
We played cricket or rounders if we ran out of space 
Robbers or thieves
Football  ,
Hide and Seek,
Kabaddi , Gili danda and knock door run 
Kiti Kiti gotya,many would remember this game jumping over the backs

There was no bottled water, we would share the same bottle after giving it a wipe with our mucky sleeves,
We had no kids tv channels  In fact we had no  .
Rode our hired bikes  for hours  yes we could hire bikes by the hour or half day or full day . There was no such thing as a mobile phone or any other electronic device  or in fact even a telephone .
We weren't AFRAID OF ANYTHING. Your friends always had Your back . and if someone had a fight, that's what it was...a fist fight.
Kids didn't have guns or knives.
The street lights were always your curfew or until your mum shouted out the window.
School was mandatory, but we loved the monsoons when it flooded and we could not go to school and spent hours playing in the rain making paper boats to sail them through the gutters ✏ or catch guppies.
We watched our mouths around our eldersbecause we knew we'd get a crack, belt or some shoe , slipper ... everybody listened to English songs on the the same radio station, so walking from home to school, you’d hear the same song playing in most homes as you walked along . Saturday Date was popular with late nights drinking sitting over someone’s wall,sleepover at friends place n make prank calls overnight and pick of the Pops on Wednesday nights. , despite us moving to different parts of the globe, thanks to social media and face book ,we still keep in touch with childhood friends and as a community we share good and bad news and it’s amazing that our Bandra community can still support each other .  If you did something wrong your parents knew about it before you got home . I was lucky to grow up in a beautiful community .

Hello friends I am Raj.
Still improving to become better.
Today I want to tell you about the facts of life which many people had to go in life. So friends please like and comment if any suggestions or comment  if you disagree with the posts. So let's start
The incident which I am telling you based on real life.
Who doesn't want to earn money  💰 ? Who doesn't want to become rich?
But at what cost? There are many motivational stories where people have worked hard and became rich.these were the real heroes who maintained discipline and moved in life,  so friends according to you can you become rich without hard work,  you will say" NO" and that is right. This story is about my friend aakash (name changed) who was hardworking and motivated too. He completed his graduation and was searching for job. He gave many interviews but got rejected as he was a fresher with no experience and course. So one day I was just passing by road and I saw him.so I called him and asked what's app.how Izz life going on. Aakash: He said that cool.
Me: I work in airport.just got a job,what about you?
Aakash: I don't have a job but just trying to find it.
Me: have you applied anywhere for job.
Aakash: yes,but I got rejected bcoz they didn't want fresher and only experienced staff got job. This was not in one company but almost every where. Some company wanted money to provide jobs.and I was not in that condition to give them.
Let me tell you about aakash,he belongs to a very poor family, he has mom dad and two younger sisters. He loves to talk with other people and has a positive attitude. Although he was short in height but his personality was good.
Me: are yaar you don't worry I will send you for an interview.
Aakash: thank you man. But what will I do in airport I mean job profile.
Me: that you don't worry, you will get training and they will tell you about the job. I need to go just give me your contact number will send you the address of interview.

I said I'm leaving and I went home. After a week I came to know that there is an interview for airport jobs. I called him up but no one was answering. Continuously 15 minutes I called him. I then thought of going to his house but I was just knowing the area not his proper address. I went on to that road what I am seeing he is cleaning the car.i was just shocked.
Me: what are you doing men, why you are cleaning car, what's wrong with you.
Aakash: yaar don't get me wrong I was just sitting idle so thought of earning some money.
Me: this job is not for you, at least you should have thought about your parents ,do they know about this? Accha don't worry I have a job for you, if interested  then just leave everything and get ready 3 pm interview is there.
Aakash went for an interview and got selected he was very happy, he called me and thanked me about this opportunity.he was offered lesser package than me.
This is the first negative thing he thought that came into his mind why I got less.
But I was happy for him. He got an airline job and he will be earning then.
Few months passed.
Aakash and I were working in same company, same designation and same place.
I got an opportunity in other airlines so I switched my job. I was out of station for 8 months.
Aakash was in same company. And he was quite happy
One of my colleagues called me and said your friend aakash has got a new car,  he was showing us. I thought 🤔 he must have saved money or whatever could be the reason. After 8 months I received a message from aakash phone that please meet me. I thought of going to his place.
When I went there I called him up, his father picked up the phone and told me to come home,i went to his home and asked uncle where is aakash.  Uncle was crying and crying,
I was little confused and asked him again
Me: uncle where is aakash?
Uncle : he died.
Me: was shocked what?
Uncle: yes he committed suicide.
Me: (don't know how to React)  but how all this happened?
8 months before it was all cool and suddenly what happened, last month only he took a new car. I mean he was just.......... Xxxx can't believe it
Uncle: it's all bcoz of you?
Me: what?  I was not there here,
Uncle: you really don't know.
Me: no uncle
Uncle : he got caught while smuggling of gold from flight.
Me: what nonsense.
Uncle: thats what the AIU told us, one month he was in remand,they torchered him so much that he committed suicide.
Me : oh now I understood how he purchased a car.  Oh shit how can he just do that?
Uncle blammed me about the incident which happened and he have not forgiven me till now.
Guys there is no shortcut to success. Only your hard work will pay you and appreciate you in future
My message to all working man and woman please work hard and don't find any shortcut to earn money 💰 bcoz earning 💰 from wrong way may be dangerous to you as well as for others who is part of your life.

I missed my friend so much that I can't even imagine that he is no more in this world.
